Terms of Service

These are the terms for using SiteX-Ray. Plain English. By using the service you agree to them.

1. What you get

SiteX-Ray generates AI-written audit reports of websites you submit. Two tiers:

• Free teaser — single page summary delivered to your email at no cost.
• Full audit ($39 USD) — 10–15 page detailed report delivered to your email after payment.

"Done-for-you" implementation services are quoted separately and governed by the agreement attached to each quote.

2. Payment & refunds

• Paid audits are $39 USD, charged once at the time of purchase via Lemon Squeezy (the merchant of record).
• No subscription. No recurring charges. No auto-renewal.
• 7-day refund: if you're unhappy with the report for any reason, email us within 7 days and we'll refund in full. No questions, no friction.
• Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically take 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.

3. What the report is — and isn't

Specifically:

• The report is intended as educational and advisory content, not as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, technical, etc.).
• You're responsible for evaluating which recommendations to apply to your site.
• We don't guarantee specific outcomes (traffic growth, conversion lift, ranking changes). Real-world results depend on factors outside our control.
• The AI may occasionally err. If you find a factual mistake, let us know — we use feedback to improve the prompt.

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

• Submit URLs you don't have a legitimate reason to audit (e.g. competitor sabotage at scale).
• Submit URLs to illegal content, malware, or sites violating Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.
• Automate or scrape our free teaser endpoint to avoid the paid tier. We rate-limit and may block abuse.
• Resell or relabel reports as your own without an explicit written partnership agreement.

Violation may result in suspension of access without refund.

5. Ownership

You own the audit reports we deliver to you and may use them however you want, including handing them to your developer, agency, or team. We retain the right to use anonymized findings to improve the tool's quality.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don't guarantee uptime, latency, accuracy, or availability of any specific feature.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $39, whichever is less.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were advised of the possibility.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service any time — no account to cancel. We may terminate access for users who violate these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email to paying customers. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction. Disputes are first to be attempted resolved by direct email contact — most aren't disputes once we talk.
